FAQ for Parents.
What is Karate Fit?
Karate Fit is a class that incorporates karate into fitness. It is not a traditional karate class with belt colours and gradings, but we will work to the Syllabus that we use in the evening sessions but at a slower and more relaxed pace with the emphasis on getting your heart rate up.
How Much is it?
It is £6 a session.
When is it?
Classes for 6-15yrs are on a Monday at Capel Village Hall.

How do I book?
Pre booking is essential, this is done on our website:
www.miraikarate.co.uk/book-online
What do we wear?
Comfy workout clothes – shorts/jogging bottoms/leggings and a top. We train barefoot.
Please also bring a water bottle.
No Gi is required for these sessions.

Do I need to stay?
We try to be as inclusive as possible so therefore add the opportunity for 1 adult per family to train for free. If you’re waiting around, you may as well try something new too! You have nothing to lose!
Alternatively, we have very limited seating within the dojo itself or simply drop off and enjoy a child free hour!
How busy will it be?
Spaces are limited to ensure you get the right amount of tuition. We have 10 spaces available on our 6-15yrs session.
Karate is a great discipline for the whole family to enjoy together and we have dedicated Family Sessions held in the evenings but for our daytime sessions one parent/adult can train alongside the child for free. So, some adults may also be present in the dojo but do not count towards the space allocation.
Parking?
We are based at Capel Village Hall which has a free car park.
My child would like to grade and change belt colour, how do we do this?
That’s great! Grading is part of a full karate syllabus. We have 3 weekly sessions with an instructor who can help your child take their next step in their Karate journey. Ask Debbie for more information.

Please ensure your child has used the toilet facilities before the beginning of class to minimise disruption.
